An irregular edge is left visible rather than refined away, setting the found character of the wood against the controlled geometry of the ring shank. The contrast allows the material to keep part of its own history while entering a precise wearable structure.
The work sits between discovery and control: part of the form is accepted as encountered, while the rest is deliberately built around it.
