A circular bent-wood form is interrupted by open intervals, allowing the surrounding space to become part of the object. The structure is restrained, but the gaps keep the form from resolving into a closed loop.
The work continues an older interest in bending, repetition, and the body, while reducing those ideas to a quieter relationship between line, interval, and tension.
